I read lots of other Amazon reviews and can echo the sentiments of those who have had a successful experience. Be nice to the plates (no scouring), and the non-stick will survive.
I was principally interested in the waffle iron and grill bits, and they both work great. The little instruction book is adequate, and the cook times & temps seem to be pretty close to my own experience. I use my grill a couple of times a week. Not a replacement for the gas grill, but much more convenient for weekdays.

At first I was a little skeptical of this 'latest' grill from GF. I thought it was just another in a long line of gadgets that would end up a door stop or lost in the cabinet of 'forgotten' kitchen 'time-saving' appliances. Much to my surprise (and delight) this thing not only works as advertised but also does save an amazing amount of kitchen work time. It makes the best bacon ever, great waffles, and grills a burger or steak is half the time. It has moved from the utility shelf, to a permanent place on the counter (and in our kitchen that's saying a lot). I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone who wants a fast, healthy (less grease) meal.

This is the best George Foreman grill yet. Easy to clean and change cooking grids and the adjustment of cooking temperatures is wonderful. I still have an older unit which still works great but this is much easier to clean and I love the color. Amazon shipped fast and the price was great. I'm very happy with this grill and use it a lot. It makes great hamburgers and sausage patties.
